Charlotte Fashion Week Takes Over Charlotte Today

Charlotte Fashion Week 2012 Preview

Rita Miles visits The Charlotte Today Show with several models in tow to display the fashions in this year’s Charlotte Fashion Week

With Charlotte Fashion Week kicking off tomorrow, Rita Miles, the creator and producer, visited the WCNC 36 set today for a special preview of Charlotte Fashion Week 2012 on The Charlotte Today Show, Monday September 17, 2012. Ms. Miles glowing enthusiasm for her event shined through in her interview with the host, Colleen Odegaard. Her passion for fashion also shows in the events surprising growth. As 2012 marks only the 2nd anual production of Charlotte Fashion Week, She is expecting as many as 8,000 guests to attend the four day event — A 25% increase from their inaugural performance.

Featured in the preview was Paul Kenna modeling menswear for Taylor Richards Conger. You can see Paul Wednesday night for Gentlemen Swank.  The best of fall fashions for the modern male will be exhibited. This event is hosted at Emerson Joseph, 221 S. Tryon St. Admission is complimentary!

Also Featured in the Charlotte Today preview were  Christina Daniels and Jenna Petraglia modeling a Robert Craig printed maxi dress and Carolina Wellness recyclable piece made from blue surgical masks and robes. Jenna will be walking the runway Thursday modeling a design by Lineage Bridal during fashion week’s Bridal and Couture Night, as well as Saturday displaying the recyclable piece she wore today.
